Concept Plan

Kirini Associates will develop a Concept Plan for your whenua.

This is the roadmap that the future development will follow, used to focus objectives and to share with whānau to explain what is being planned for the whenua. The Concept Plan is used to apply for consents and funding for your project. Once it has been developed, you can action it straight away, or develop your whenua slowly.

Contact us to have a kōrero.

If you want to work with us we will visit the whenua, we'll talk to whānau / trustees and listen to your dreams. We'll collect an understanding of the whakapapa of the whenua and mātauranga. We'll work to put together a plan that works for you. Everything that you share with us remains with you.

We collaborate with you as whānau, hapū or iwi to hear your voice, to understand the whakapapa of the whenua.

Our design approach is based on respect for the mauri of the whenua, and kōrero tuku iho.

Before we start design we develop a detailed understanding of the history, the ecology and the networks that the whenua is part of - in the past now and into the future.

Through careful design we enliven the mauri of the whenua, starting with the soil microbiome, which impacts the quality of wai, plants, animals and whānau living above it.
