Kirini Associates was founded in 2023 by Richard Morris (Tangata Tiriti) and Moira Lomas (Ngāi Tahu, Waitaha, Kāti Māmoe) after discussions around design and  innovation.

We know housing isn't working well. We know it is hard to develop your whenua. We believe strongly in the need to disrupt convention to mitigate the effects of colonisation, climate change and the need to restore our whenua for our moko and our moko moko.
